I think in regards to the 500+ vs 1000 there are a few factors to consider- 1) The current KS has a long way to go till its over. Also their minis are awesome quality so that is nice. I do think they have a solid place in the market though as no game has really done Weird Wild West as well as they have. I have yet to read the story so I cannot make any points on that. It is a fun game, but the miniatures game market is glutter, and many stores are afraid to pull the trigger on a game if they don't see players in seats first. I've always had great customer service from themĪnd the first Kickstarter had the best fulfilment of any kickstarter I've funded. Outlaw does interact with the community very well. I do find it strange that the original kickstarter had 1000+ backers and they had a successfull week on Beasts of War, but still only have 500 backers. But there are popular games out there that have more eratic release shedules and they keep going. The models are greatĭo I like that I had to buy new stat cards for my models a few months after I got them, Noĭo I like that many stores locally won't carry it because it is Direct distrobution, NoĪs for the release schedule, people complain, but they release something at least once a month, just not something for every faction once a moth. Models don't even match the in fluff versions at time (John Younger)Īnother is introduced in the fluff right after he is introduced in the game, but is killed in his first apearence. The Fluff is pretty much window dressing.
